Cuba se prepara para vacunar a toda su poblacion a partir del proximo julio con Soberana 2, y en lo que va de este ano con sus cinco candidatos vacunales, la buena noticia es que la isla tiene la capacidad de producir vacunas mas de 10 veces que las que necesita para inmunizar a unos 11 millones de cubanos, y lo bueno de esta noticia es que se beneficiaran muchos paises con carencia de vacunas porque ademas la logistica de las vacunas cubanas no requiere la alta tecnologia de refrigeradores especiales, nada de eso, se transportan en congeladores comunes lo cual abarata y simplifica considerablemente el proceso de inocuización de la poblacion posibilitando que mas personas sean inmunizadas en menor tiempo que las actuales vacunas que se conocen. Sobre todo debemos tener en cuenta que cada cierto tiempo, que aun nadie conoce con exactitud, la poblacion tendra que volver a vacunarse y habra que producir mas vacunas, sobre todo a medida que surjan variantes altamente transmisibles de alta letalidad. Incluso hay una vacuna cubana que se inhala, lo cual posibilita varias dosis de prevencion.
